Reed Model, Reed Specification And Calculation Method Of Reed Number For Textile Machine
The reed of textile machine is suitable for shuttle loom and shuttleless loom (rapier, shuttle, air jet and water spray). This paper introduces in detail the determination of loom reed type , the identification method of < strong> reed specification and the calculation method of reed number except for the special fabric (using double reed). The material of reed mainly includes carbon steel and stainless steel , bamboo pieces, etc., the thickness of the reed teeth is thinned according to the increase of the buckle number.
Reed models are divided into: reed with shuttle (blue cloth tape binding, wood frame), reed without shuttle (aluminum alloy binding, wire frame). The reed with shuttle machine is fixed with nylon wire (nylon fishing rope), and the reed with aluminum alloy binding is fixed with thin iron wire due to the strength requirements of weaving special products; the reed with aluminum alloy binding is keel with steel wire, and wire is wrapped Fixed around. The bars on both sides mainly prevent the reed from falling off.
Reed height range: 11cm-14cm, height selection is based on the size of the shed needed in the weaving process of the fabric. If there is a shuttle loom, the influence of the door width on the shed also needs to be considered.
There are three ways to calculate reed density:
1、 Calculated according to the imperial size: that is, the value of the space in the length of 2 inches (5.08cm) = reed number. For example, on a reed, there are 55 threading spaces in the length of 2 inches, and the model of the reed is 55# (Imperial reed number);
In addition, the "mesh" used in the weaving of screen mesh and barbed wire mesh is different from this. It refers to the meridional density within the length of 1 inch, and 50 mesh refers to 50 spaces within the length of 2.54 cm.
2、 Calculated according to the metric dimension: the value of the space in the length of 10 cm = reed number. Customers in some regions will calculate the density of reeds according to this calculation method. This calculation method is mainly for fabrics with relatively small density. Reeds are more convenient.
3、 According to the length of effective reed teeth arrangement, measure the total number of spaces of the reed and calculate the average value (the number of spaces within 1cm length).
Reed specifications are mainly marked by length. Woven machines are marked according to the total length of the British system, for example, 56 inch, 63 inch, 75 inch, 44 inch, 110 inch, etc. inch refers to inch, which is used according to the door frame of the machine. 56 inch refers to the use of 56 inch loom. Rapier, air jet, shuttle and water jet looms are generally marked with metric unit cm. For example, for rapier with door width of 1.8m, reed wrapped with aluminum alloy is used, 1.8m = 180cm, that is, 180 rapier reed.
Reed model, reed specification and reed density are the premise of manufacturing reed. These three factors determine whether reed production meets customer requirements.
